THE PRODUCT

A family of worldwide leading scientific measurement instruments

Used for QC (Quality Control) purposes in various industries

CHALLENGES

Reinvent the software to take full potential of the available advanced hardware

Application maintainability

Increased usability

Market differentiation

CONTRIBUTION

Particular technological and industry know-how

R&D  team for new image processing algorithms

UI/UX design, interaction design, branding, graphic design, architecture design, development, consulting and insight

Development continuity

CUSTOMER GAINS

Superior CX: UI, process automation, performance, reduced learning curve

Workflow-based design has offered a common way of interacting with very different types of devices

Innovation – the 1st worldwide mobile surface analyzer

A modular interface that the client plans to market as a product for other companies in the industry

CHALLENGES

The client developed and reinvented their devices, innovated in their field but their software was not reflecting the developing technical possibilities, it was complicated and non-intuitive.

They needed software that could help take full potential of the new hardware, a software that was usable, intuitive for the user, followed the actual user flow, helped the user make a complex process in an easy way. The new software also had to be maintainable and be a market differentiator

CONTRIBUTION

Discovery

Discovering the users, physical devices, the company and client needs, business cases

Collaboration and prototyping

A collaborative and iterative approach on processes, user flows, mockups and functional prototypes

Design

Consulting on the user experience, interactions, creating and designing a functional, user-focused interface. In-depth and attention to details, focus on simplicity and easy-to-follow processes, easily scalable between different device modules with different requirements, thoughtful approach on multiple languages, branding, graphic design, physical interfaces customizations, translating the same principles to touch interactions

CUSTOMER GAINS

Superior UI and UX, process automation, improved performance, reduced learning curve

User-workflow based design optimized interactions with a large family of devices

An interface that the user plans to market as a product.
